The purpose of this privacy policy (“Policy”) is to make you aware of how we collect, use, and disclose the information we gather from our users. By utilizing the My Career websites (“My Career”, “we”, or “us”)) you agree to the terms and conditions of this Policy. It is our policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we collect while you use My Career.

Definition of Personal Information. Your use of My Career requires us to gather personal information about you, which is information that can be linked to a specific individual, such as name, postal and email address, and telephone number (“Personal Information”). Personal Information also includes demographic and other information if and when it is associated with an individual’s Personal Information. My Career only collects Personal Information we deem necessary and appropriate to fulfill the purpose of your interaction with us. Individual users may refuse to provide Personal Information, with the understanding that it may prevent us from providing the service requested by the user.

How We Use Your Personal Information. Your Personal Information is used to provide you with the services you've requested by connecting you with a third party who may contact you to provide you with additional information. We may also utilize your Personal Information to contact you or allow an affiliate of ours to contact you for a limited period even if the telephone number you submitted appears on any state and/or federal Do Not Call list, because your inquiry creates an exception to state and/or federal Do Not Call laws. By submitting your Personal Information to us, you expressly consent to My Career forwarding such information to the school about which you have requested additional information. Furthermore, you expressly consent to being contacted by us, our affiliates, and schools with which My Career has partnered, or their respective representatives, with information for educational services via email, physical mail, text message, telephone or cellular phone, and understand and agree that the calls and messages may be transmitted using an automatic telephone dialing system and/or an artificial or prerecorded voice.

We may also disclose your Personal Information as we believe to be necessary or appropriate: (a) under applicable law, including laws outside your country of residence; (b) to comply with legal process; (c) to respond to requests from public and government authorities including public and government authorities outside your country of residence; (d) to enforce our terms and conditions; (e) to protect our operations or those of any of our affiliates; (f) to protect our rights, privacy, safety or property, and/or that of our affiliates, you or others; and (g) to allow us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain.

Gathering of Information by Third Parties. Third parties can collect personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across different websites pertaining to your visit to, or use of, our and others’ websites.

Do-Not-Track Requests. Do-not-track requests are typically made through web browser settings that control mechanisms that provide consumers with the ability to exercise choice regarding the collection of personally identifiable information about their online activities over time and across third party websites or online services. We do not respond to do-not-track requests if enabled by the user.

Collecting, Using, and Disclosing Non-Personal Information. Non-Personal Information is information that does not reveal your specific identity, like which web browser you use, your language preference, and which operating system you use. Business Transfers. If My Career, or substantially all of its assets, were to be a part of any reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer, or any other disposition of property, or in the unlikely event that My Career goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is passed to a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of My Career may continue to use your Personal Information and Non-Personal Information as set forth in this Policy.

IP Addresses. My Career collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for users of our websites. My Career only uses and discloses IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses Personal Information as described in this Policy.

A user’s IP address is automatically identified and logged in our server log files whenever a user visits any of our websites, along with the time of the visit and the page(s) that were visited. Collecting IP addresses is standard practice on the Internet and is done automatically by many websites. We use IP addresses for purposes such as calculating usage levels of our websites, helping diagnose server problems, geographic mapping, and administering our websites.

In some cases, we may not be able to remove your Personal Information, in which case we will let you know that we are unable to do so and why.

Changes to This Policy. My Career reserves the right to change this Policy from time to time. My Career encourages users to frequently check this webpage for any changes to this Policy. Your continued use of any of our websites after any change to this Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.
